Did You Know?

In 2014, Philip Drucker ran for California State Senate 28th District? The bad news is in a hotly contested race, he came in fourth. The good news was, in a highly red district he received the highest number of democratic votes and is now an ex-officio member of the Riverside County Democratic Party.

His platform was based on 1. Economic prosperity through Green technology 2. Increased availability and affordability for education and vocational training. 3 Save the Salton Sea. Sadly, repairing the Salton Sea remains at the top of his “to-do” list.

He is still active in local politics and has volunteered his services and experiences to several blue campaigns since. See the official election results here:

Currently, Philip doesn’t have any plans to run for public office. He’s happy with his coffee and corgis. But, like all good civil servants, gladiators and persons with a wild streak in them, you never know when the time might be right for a step back into the political arena.
